Melbourne is a big city and has so many little corners to explore. On my days off (when my two year old boss is at childcare) I’m trying to get out a bit to discover the city.

One area I’ve gotten to know pretty well is Camberwell. Well known for it’s bespoke shopping it’s a hit with both locals and tourists alike. One of my favourite little stores to visit there is Paper Republic.

This store is beautiful and a work of art in itself. All of the items they are selling are displayed with such care and attention to detail. Every time I visit this store I find it very difficult to not walk out without getting something, even if only inspiration!

While strolling through the store and purchasing an early mothers day gift for myself and a birthday pressie for my daughter (yes, that long ago – this is how behind I am with editing personal projects) I asked if I could get a couple of pictures of this beautiful little gem. I was delighted when they said yes!

Paper Republic has something for everyone – young and old!

collage 04From gift cards & flowers…

collage 02…wrapping paper, ribbons, maps & prints…

collage 05… to puzzles, stationary, children’s gifts, fragrant soaps and frames…

collage 03…as well as local & international books, art and so much more!

If they served coffee or wine in this store I would never have a reason to leave 😉 Be sure to check them out and I dare you to try and walk away empty handed!!

Thank you Paper Republic, for letting me get some shots of your beautiful store! And being the first of the “MyMelbourne” series!

xoxo
